FinTech RS are supporting a long-standing client as they look to bolster their team by recruiting a Systems Engineer on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to join a national leading and specialist tech business.

The successful candidate will work closely with various clients ensuring that IT and business systems run smoothly by delivering effective IT support for all hardware and software.

Key duties:

‍

• Troubleshooting, configuring, maintaining, and installing desktop software using standard images
• Updating the knowledge base and maintaining documentation as needed to enhance support operations
• Make use of, adhere to, and oversee the competency matrix to find skill shortages
• When troubleshooting desktop issues, use your working understanding of networking to aid.
• Take part in the accomplishment of a minimum of two distinct customer projects.
• Work with third parties as needed to guarantee that the client receives high-quality service.
• Recognise the clients' escalations and know when to use them.

Candidates should have a driving licence and access to a car. Previous experience within a similar role is essential whilst also having experience with Microsoft Windows 10, Azure and understanding basic networking technologies.
