FinTech Recruitment Solutions are working with a private equity-backed business who are looking to recruit a Data Systems Engineer. This role will be recruited on a remote basis however there will be occasional visits to offices throughout Scotland when required.
You will be working as part of a rapidly growing and technology-focused business. This role will come with autonomy and will be responsible for:
- Ensuring our primary business applications operate smoothly.
- Maintaining compatibility across different systems.
- Evaluating data collection methods and verifying the accuracy of stored information.
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications and setting timelines for completion.
- Proficiency in business systems integration (SQL), APIs, and data warehousing.
- Establishing data relationships and developing both tabular and multidimensional data models.
- Analysing the current ETL processes and designing new systems to support business reporting and operations.
- Providing technical recommendations to improve existing Business Intelligence systems.
- Collaborating with users and team members at all levels to enhance performance and gather suggestions.
- Documenting processes, models, designs, and solutions, and being able to explain and present them clearly.
The successful candidate should have experience in SQL, Power Automate, Power Apps and SharePoint development.
