About the Role:

We are delighted to support a rapidly expanding client with numerous recent contract wins in the Aberdeen area. As a result of that success they are looking to add to their support team; a role and opportunity well suited to someone looking to further their career and knowledge. This position will be a dual role of software and internal IT support offering a diverse, challenging workload whilst working in a supportive and high-performing environment.

Duties will include:

Software Support

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Management of incidents
  • User training
  • Technical and software assistance
  • Ongoing maintenance of Hardware and Software

IT/Desktop Support

  • First and second-line IT assistance
  • System configuration and administration
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Maintenance and awareness of IT security
  • Working closely with the DevOps team

This role will require the successful candidate to participate in a weekly on-call rotation to provide after-hours support and address critical IT issues as they arise, our client offers an enhanced rate for this.
