A brand new, exclusive role within the Energy sector where those with a good understanding of Tax have an excellent opportunity to develop their career. In this senior position, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance and providing support across various tax-related and commercial responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• A proactive approach to performing direct and indirect tax reporting/filings for the business. This involves UK and international filings, working in collaboration with external tax advisors as well as various departments internally.
• First point of contact for Contracts and Operations for queries in relation to finance, working together with these departments to develop and maintain in-country operational procedures.
• Regular review of company operations to ensure sales invoice completeness and appropriate inter-department procedures have been performed
• Provide support where needed with job cost reporting
• Other finance responsibilities as they arise and skill set accommodates

Ideally I am looking to speak with people who have proven experience of dealing with UK and International Tax matters, as well as IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge. A formal Accountancy qualification and previous working knowledge of the Energy sector would also be preferred.
